Speak your mind
Have you ever heard the “Speak Your Mind” thing before? Well, actually it became familiar to me because I saw it in some MTV commercial. And it is a part of MTV program too.
Recently I got caught in a situation like… well, it wasn’t a very nice situation. It was like when you want to tell something but it won’t come out from your mouth. The reason is vary. Maybe it’s because you’re too afraid it will hurt somebody’s feeling. Maybe it’s because it will hurt your feeling (is this worse?) Maybe it’s because you’re not supposed to say it. Maybe it’s because you’re afraid your reputation will turn out bad if you say it. Well, so much reason.
Yeah, I know it’s happen. Like dilemma. But the words “Speak Your Mind” often crosses in my mind (Yeah, I supposed to speak it, right? :=)). Do we have to say whatever on our mind? Then, why must we afraid? They say we, as a person, have a freedom to speak our mind. It’s written somewhere in the law (You know it’s on UUD ‘45 too!!).
Sometimes I think, it might be a part of Indonesian culture. Hahaha… Somebody said it to me. We, Indonesian people, are always afraid to say something. We’re too afraid people will laugh at us and think we’re dumb. Here’s my thought: If somebody say you’re dumb, you’re idiot, you’re moron or whatsoever, you’d better go to him and say: Smart is not everything and dumb is not the end of the world after all! Hahahaha..
Okay, back to the topic… I think we should not go on like that. I mean, we should speak our mind, say something, and have a voice of our own. Wow, sounds wise! Hahahaha… But it’s true. We not should give a damn to what everybody will say. It’s our mind, and it’s a part of our self after all. They should accept that. They should not laugh at it!!!!
Well maybe that’s one of the reason why I wrote such things like this. If I don’t do it very well in speaking, maybe writing will do. I think it’s time for me to speak my mind. It’s time for everybody to hear it. And it’s time for you to accept it, not to laugh at it!!! Ooops, I don’t mean to push you.
Anyway, as I say in the end of this page, this is just one of my expressive way. Yeah, and speak your mind can be one of your expressive way too.

A Little Thought of a Little Thing is just one of Dita’s expressive way. I like writing (very much), and now I think it’s time for me to have a courage to publish it. It would be nice to share it with the people around me. Hopefully, this little writing thing could inspire you. Oh, and I am very welcome if you want to write me back. Just reply.
